SOUTHERN CROSS SAILS TUESDAV. —The Melanesian Mission steamer Southern Cross is now taking on stores at Queen's Wharf, in preparation for her trip to the mission stations in the Melanesian group. The vessel is to sail on Tuesday next. CANADIAN CONQUEROR COMING.— The local office of the Canadian Xational Steamships advises that the steamer Canadian Conqueror sailed from Halifax on March 28 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on May 8. KALIN GO SAILS TOMORROW.-Thc Union Company’s inter-colonial cargo steamer Kalingo is to sail tomorrow afternoon for Xew Plymouth, Wanganui, Picton and Greymouth to complete unloading her cargo of timber and general merchandise from Australian pprts, the local portion of which she is discharging at Central "W'harf. SINNINGTON COURT AND WESTMOOR.—Xo loading itineraries or other movements have yet been announced for the steamer Sinnington Court or the motor-ship Westmoor. The former is at King’s Wharf discharging a full cargo of basic slag and phosphates from Antwerp and is expected to complete unloading on Thursday next. The Westmoor is discharging a similar cargo from Ghent , at Central Wharf. It is expected that j she will be ready to dispatch from this j port at noon on Saturday. RANGITIKI SAILS SUN DAY.- —The Xew Zealand Shipping Company's motorliner Rangitiki, now at Prince’s Wharf completing discharge of her general cargo from London and loading for that port, is now to be dispatched on Sunday morning for Gisborne to continue loading. WEiRBANK FROM MAKATEA. —With a full cargo of phosphates from Makatea Island, the Bank Line motor-vessel Weirbank arrived in the stream yesterday afternoon. She has 4,000 tons for discharge here, and unloads the remainder at Lyttelton. The vessel was at Auckland recently with a raw sugar cargo from Cuba. The Weirbank was to take the Roseric’s berth at King’s Wharf when that vessel sailed. She was fixed to leave at noon today. The Weirbank left Makatea Island on March 12, and had a fine weather voyage, except for the last four days, when she was delayed slightly by strong south-east winds and rough head seas. Captain J Scougal retains command.
