COASTAL MOVEMENTS—APANUI was to arrive from Thames- at 2 p.m. today, and leaves again on the return trip at 3 p.m. tomorrow. AWAHOU is due back in the week-end from Hicks, Tolaga and Tokomaru Bays, and sails on the return trip on Tuesday next. CANOPUS sails this afternoon for Westport to load again for Auckland. CLANSMAN is expected from Russell, Opua Whangaroa and Mangonui at 9 a.m. tomorrow. CLAYMORE leaves for Whangarei at 7.30 p.m. today, and should return here at 7 a.m. on Saturday. CORONATION sails on Saturday for Awanui. HAUITI was to leave for Kerepeehi, Kopu, and Turua at noon today. She is due back from those ports at five o’clock on Saturday. KAPONGA leaves Portland this evening for Wellington and Lyttelton. KAIMIRO leaves Wellington today for Auckland. She is due here on Saturday. . KAITOKE is scheduled to clear Lyttelton at noon tomorrow for Auckland direct. KAIXIANAWA, now due at Westport on Saturday, loads there for Napier and Auckland. KAWAU is expected at three o’clock this afternoon from Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point, Leigh and Big Omaha. She sails again at 3 p.m. tomorrow for Waiwera, Mahurangi and Warkworth. MARGARET W. is due in the weekend from Gisborne, and sails on the return trip on Tuesday. MOTITI has been delayed at Portland by unfavourable weather, and it is not now expected here until next week. MOTU is expected from Tauranga at 7 a.m. tomorrow. PUKEKO sailed last night for Portland. Lottin Point, Waikokopu and Napier, and is due back about Wednesday. RANGITOTO is due back from Great Barrier at 10 p.m. today. She sails again for Coromandel at five o’clock tomorrow afternoon. WAIPTJ leaves for Paeroa at midnight tonight, and returns at G. 30 a.m. on Saturday. WING AT UI is to be dispatched at 5 p.m. tomorrow for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. WAIPIATA, en route from Bluff, ar-
rived at Timaru at 6 a.m. yesterday. She was expected to leave there at 31 p.m. yesterday for Wellington and Auckland.
