BROADCASTING ENGLISH MATCHES
AUCKLAND APPROVES
"I have a weak spot for broadcasting," remarked Mr. H. Frost, chairman of the Management Com- j mittee of the Auckland Rugby Union, which last evening approved the broadcasting of all matches to be played in New Zealand against the English tourists. Mr. Frost’s motion, which was passed unanimously, read: While it is recognised that certain' financial hardship will be inflicted on unions, this committee is of the opinion that the British games will create Dominionwide interest among numbers of keen enthusiasts who will have no possible opportunity of seeing them, and it favours the broadcasting of all these games. «
