GREETINGS BY AIR

TE KUITI AND NEW PLYMOUTH From Our Own Correspondent TE KUITI, Tuesday. On Monday Mr. H. T. Morton was a passenger by airplane from Te Kuiti to New Plymouth in Mr. Douglas Mill's Be Haviland Moth machine. The following letter was forwarded by Mr. S. Craig, president of the Te Kuiti Chamber of Commerce, to flic president of the Taranaki Chamber: "Wo are glad to take this opportunity of sending you greetings by the first airplane direct from Te Kuiti to New Plymouth. This message will be delivered by Mr. H. T. Morton, a member of our chamber. We have pleasure in informing you that Te Kuiti now possesses a good airdrome, and we should be delighted to hear that your chamber will be sending a delegate at some future date, when aviation questions of mutual interest will be discussed, which, we feel, will be an event in the very near future.” The plane returned on Tuesday from New Plymouth to Te Kuiti, and brought a letter from Mr. James McLeod. president of the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce, reciprocating the good wishes.
