LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

MEETING OF MT. EDEN BRANCH The Mount Eden branch of the League of Mothers held its March meeting in the Presbyterian Sunday School. The president gave a brief resume of the work of the annual conference and gave to the members the provincial president’s message for the year. Mrs. Will, president of the Dominion Road branch, was the speaker for the afternoon and brought forward some helpful ideas with regard to the habits and training of young children. Mrs. Will said that there were certain habits which "Indicated nervous disorders and should be carefully watched so that the cause might be discovered, and the trouble cured if possible, before the child's development was retarded. Afternoon tea brought to a close an interesting and helpful meeting.
