NORTH SHORE SWIMMING

SEASON’S LAST CARNIVAL A swimming gala on Cheltenham Beach on Saturday is the last of the fixtures made this season by the North Shore Amateur Swimming Club. Owing to ah early tide the races begin at 1.30 p.m. The main event is the 220yds handicap for the Ella Munro Cup. This event is to be an annual one. In additions. the 100yds, 200yds club championships are scheduled, as well as a 50yds club breaststroke handicap. The points for these last three races are to be included in the determining of the winner of the Sterling Cup, the award being made on aggregate points over the season’s competitions that are open to club members.
