ESCAPE FROM HOSPITAL
PATIENT WANDERS FOR FIVE DAYS BROUGHT BACK BY POLICE Special to THE .SUN PALMERSTON N„ Today. While being- jjrepared for an operation last Thursday night, Albert Hansford, a patient at the Palmerston North Hospital, evaded his attendants and left the building. The police have since been searching for him, and he ■was found at Aorangi yesterday afternoon.
After he took french leave at the hospital he wandered about, obtaining food from farm houses. Back again at the hospital, Ransford again succeeded in. leaving the building later in the afternoon, but subsequently returned to hospital of his own free will.
