AUSTRALIAN GOLFERS
KIRK-WINDEYER CUP TEAMS BIG EASTER TOURNEY The New Zealand Golf Association has issued a circular in connection with the coming Kirk-Windeyer Cup contest, which says that the Victorian team, consisting of Messrs. Alex Russell, Ryan, Hancock, Bultb and K. S. Ross (four to be selected), will arrive at Bluff on April 7. The New South Wales team. Dr. Lee-Brown, Messrs. A. H. Hattersley, S. A. Keane, W. Dobson and Dr. Sydney Jones (four to be selected), also Captain Walker (secretary of Australian Golf Club, Kensington), will arrive at Wellington on April 8. The New Zealand team is Dr. KRoss and Messrs. T. H. Horton, J. L. Black, A. D. S. Duncan and E. M. Macfarlane (four to be selected). The Victorian and New South Wales I teams will play off to decide which State plays New Zealand. The playoff will be on April 14 or 15, or on both days if it is decided to play 36hole matches. New Zealand will play the winner of the match between Victoria and New South Wales as under: Foursomes, 36-hole matches, April 16; singles. 36-hole matches. April 17. The Kirk-Windeyer Cup is decided t bv the number of matches won, or, if | the matches are even, by the number of holes won. OFFICIAL DINNER There will be an official dinner to the visiting teams and the New Zealand team at the United Service Hotel, Christchurch, on Thursday, April 17, at which the Kirk-Windeyer Cup and miniatures will be presented to the winners. The matches are to be played on tht Shirley links, Christchurch, on April 14, 15, 16, and 17. *
