LAST MONTH S WEATHER “An exceptional dry, fine, month, the rainfall being the lowest recorded for March, and 2.85 inches below the average. Bright sunshine was considerably above the average and constituted a record for the month. Winds were variable, and mainly light.” These remarks were made by Mr. H. M. Vincent, Government meteorologist at Auckland, concerning last month’s weather. A total of 257 hours 55 minutes of bright sunshine was experienced during the month, there being sunshine every day. There were only three days of rain, and the total fall was .24 inches.
