GARDEN SECTION OF PENWOMEN ARRANGE A HAPPY FUNCTION

FAREWELL TEA FOR SECRETARY On Saturday afternoon a very pleasant time was spent at the Ellerslie racecourse by the garden section of the League of Penwomen. The secretary of the section, Aliss Grace Alartin, who is leaving shortly for England, was the guest of honour, and during afternoon tea she was presented with a leather travelling bag from the members. The convenor, Aliss Sweet, made the presentation in the absence, through indisposition, of the League’s president, Airs. Stuart Boyd.
