VICTORIA, DEVONPORT
“The Mighty,” a powerful talking drama, with the outstanding actor George Bancroft in the leading role, is the attraction at the Victoria Theatre, Devonport, again this evening. Bancroft is seen as a rough American bank robber, who is conscripted into the American Army during the war, and demobilised with a fine record. He is entrusted with the post of police officer, but falls foul of his old gang. Excellent supporting items are also being shown.
