NEW CLUB FORMED LINKS AT MANUREWA Over 30 prospective players were present at a meeting held at Manure wa to consider the question of forming a golf club. It was unanlmouslv decided to form a club, and to accept the offer of a resident of Hill Road to use a nine-hole course on his property. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. H. F. Barnard; vicepresidents, Messrs. J. Gilmore and A. M. Shugar: honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr. B. Macfarlane; committee, Mesdames Gilmore and Rushton, Misses Macfarlane and White, and Messrs. C. White, J. Murray and Adlam. It is proposed to open the club at an early date.
