FUNERAL OF SOCIALIST SPEECHES BY FRIENDS Special to THE SUN CHRISTCHURCH, Today. Xo clergymen was present at the burial of Mr. L. R. Wilson, a prominent Socialist, of Christchurch, who was buried at the Bromley Cemetery on Saturday afternoon. Mr. F. K. Cooke, a member of the City Council, spoke of Mr. "Vyilson's life, and concluded with, a quotation from Omar Khayyam. Mr. E. J. Howard, M.P., also spoke. Three other Christchurch members of Parliament, Mr. B. G. Sullivan, Mr. J. McCombs, and Mr. H. T. Armstrong, were present.
