ONE FOR BRITAIN—TWO FOR PARTY LIBERALS ENTER PACT LONDON, Thursday. It is now admitted in Liberal quarters that negotiations are proceeding with the Labour Party, with a view to co-operation conditionally upon the passing of an Electoral Bill, under which the Liberals would have a better chance of securing representation at Westminster. The result of these negotiations may extend the Labour Government’s period of office two years and even longer.
