Mr. Roy Lippincott returned to Auckland the Limited express today. The Hon. E. A. Ransom, Minister of Public Works, continued his tour of Jha Raglan electorate yesterday and returned to Hamilton today. Mr. Justice Ostler, who left for Wellington last evening to attend a sitting f ’the full Court of Appeal, is expected to return to Auckland on Wednesday. ■The Rev. P R. Rmallfield, aecornuanied by Mrs. Rmallfield and daughter left by the Mounganul yesterday on their way to England and the Continent. Lieut.-Colonel Harding, managing director of Maconaehle Bros.. Limited, England, who is on a world business tour is at present visiting Kiw Zealand. He ia at Present at Rotorua, und will come on to Auckland later. Messrs. R A. Ar.d rson (Invercargill). G. C. Godfrey (Wellington), w. j Holdswortli (Auckland), u. a. Levin (Dunedin), and ij. A. R. Mair (Hunterville), have been reappointed members of the Local Government Loans Board for a further year. Mr. V. Rodie, commercial manager of railways, is to take over the duties of divisional superintendent (North Island) at Auckland for about four weeks from today, during the absence of Mr. E. Casey.
