SERVICE CAR BURNED

From Our Own Correspondent O POT IK I. Today. A service car. driven by Wiri Turner, when coming to Opotiki from Rotorua last evening, was totally destroyed by fire. The car was descending the Kukumoa Hill about two miles from Opotiki when flames suddenly burst from under the bonnet. It was impossible to subdue tlie fire which burned fiercely for about an hour. The car was insured.
