Fridav Society is interested in a peculiar Court case in which Lady Eduard Spencer-Churchiil is suing' Countess Mayo, one of her best friends. f o i four guineas, the price of two tickets to the Hospital ball last June. The action was undefended and »r order for payment in 14 days wa< made. "I did it as a warning.” said Ladv Spencer-Churchiil. “This sort of thinis still going on in the neighbour hood.” Countess Mayo said: “Lady Spencer Churchill and myseli* are great friends The money relates to two tickets 1 sold for the hall and payment waoverlooked. It was sheer careless' ness and pressure of my public duties.”
