Round the Churches
Divine services, morning and evening, will be conducted at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Parnell, and the preacher at both services will be Canon Fancourt.
A Harvest Thanksgiving and Mothering Sunday will be celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church, Parnell. The preacher in the evening will be Canon Grant Cowen.
“The Life of Joseph" will be the sub ject oil the Her. Lionel B. Fletcher and the 7 o’clock evening service of the Beresford Street Congregational Church.
The speaker at the 11 o’clock morning service of the Auckland Higher Thought Temple will be Mr. T. W. Silcock and in the eevning Mr. C. M. Cavitt will speak. The Christadelphians will conduct services at the Freemasons’ Hall, Belgium Street. $ * • * Afternoon and evening services will be conducted by the Spiritual Scientists’ Church. * *B* » “The Golden Age" will be the subject at the seven o’clock evening service of the Progressive Church of Spiritualists, Newmarket. The Rev. IT. S. Wilson will be the preacher at both morning and evening services at the Grange Road Baptist Church. The 11 o'clock morning service of the Mount Eden Congregational Church will bo conducted by the Rev. A. V. Whiting, and in the evening the preacher will be Mr. Owen Miles. The anniversary of the New Lynn Church will be celebrated at morning and evening services. The respective preachers will be the Rev. J. Wrigley and the Rev. C. B. Jordan. Services morning and evening will be conducted at both the Avondale Methodist Church and the Waterview Methodist Church. Morning and evening services will be held by the St. John’s Church, Fonsonby. Mr. R. T. Reid will speak upon "The Second Death" at the evening meeting of the International Bible Students’ Association. The Rev. W. Lawson Marsh will be the preacher at both services of the St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Devonport. « + • Divine services, morning and evening, will be conducted by both the Edendal© Presbyterian Church and the Somervell Memorial Church. # * • Services, 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., will be conducted by the First Church of Christ, Christian Science, at the church hall, Symonds Street. The 65th anniversary of the St. James Presbyterian Church will be celebrated by services tomorrow. A musical meeting, assisted by a team of young men from the Dock Street Mission, will bo held at the T.M.C.A. at 4.15 p.m.
