CO-OPERATION IN DUNEDIN kRRANGEMENT WITH COMPANY Press Association DUNEDIX, Today. The Trades and Labour Council fommitteo handling unemployment in Dunedin interviewed Mr. James Fletcher, of the Fletcher Construction Company, following which a wire was sent to the Minister of Labour as follows: “Have approached Mr. Fletcher to make provision for the absorption of unemployed at the new fertiliser works. The result is an undertaking to co-operate with the District Council of Labour and to place 50 unemployed within a fortnight. We consider the Government should make a general appeal to employers to follow this lead."
