SHOTS AT SHOP RAID
WOMAN BLAMED FOR MURDER OF YOUNG MAN SURRY HILLS MYSTERY SYDNEY, Thursday. The police received information that ; a shop at Surry Hills was being i raided. They went there and found l John Prendergasi, aged 23. dying in j the yard.. The man succumbed an hour later in hospital from the effects of a bullet wound in the body. Mrs. Kathleen Barry, owner of the shop, was arrested and charged witli murder, and three men were captured by the police and charged with breaking and entering. : Tile shooting of Pivndergast is en- | i eloped in mystery. No motive can ; be ascribed for the raid on the shop.
