TREATY WITH EGYPT
MISSION TALKS WITH HEADS AT FOREIGN OFFICE CONFERENCE NEXT WEEK British Official Wireless RUGBY, Thursday. Mr. Arthur Henderson, Foreign Secretary, accompanied by Sir Robert Vansittart, Permanent Under-Secre-tary, Mr. Hugh Dalton, Parliamentary Under-Secretary, Snd Sir Percy Loraine, High Commissioner in Egypt, this afternoon received at the Foreign Office the Egyptian delegation consisting of Nahas Pasha, the Prime Minister, Moharram Pasha, Minister of Public Works, and Makram Ebeid Effendi, Finance Minister. Arrangements were discussed for the public opening on Monday morning of a conterence which is to negotiate an Anglo-Egyptian treaty.
This ceremony, at which tlie Foreign Secretary and Nahas Pasha will speak, will be held in the so-called Locarno room of the Foreign Office.
