Quin ( re _ elected): vice-presidents, Messrs, j. q Johnson. J. E. Lowe, J. L. Mac.ky, j* B. Hutchison, Rev. S. H. Wareirg, Mr W. G. Park and J. T. North: auditor Mr. G. O. Jourdain (re-elected); treasurer, Mr. A. A. Rese (re-elected); secretary, Mr. H. T. Hasildt n (re-elected); lion, surgeons. Drs. Blundell. Hiske&s and Robertson; custodian, Mr. G. W. Mail's. The following were appointed to the management committee:—G. H. Silvester (Pirongia), J Williams (Kihikilii), G. W. Mairs (Waikiria), h Brown (Rovers). G. Reynolds (Te Awamutu). A. J. Shepherd tPrimary Schools), and G. Jell's (Referees’ Association). Tho report and balance-sheet were read and adopted, the latter showing & credit balance of £46 Lds 7d. It was decided to open the season on April 26, and that the fixture bt a charge day for the benefit of the insurance fund. The president and secretary were deputed to represent the union on the Waikato Rugby Union. HOT SPRINGS RUGBY CLUB From Our Own Correspondent TE AROHA, Thursday. Mr. J. C. Carroll presided over a large attendance of members of the Hot Springs Rugby Football Club on Wednesday evening,* on the occasion of the annual meeting. The balancesheet showed a small* credit. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: —Patron. Rev. Father Forde; president, Mr. .1. C. Carroll; vicepresidents, Mess s. K. L. Somers, j. Hepburn, F. T. Mulligan, P. Bailie, F. L. Board, H. E. Willcox, J. Wallace, J. Loughlin, T. M. Curran, J. D. Rivett, J. L. Roache, F. Clarkin and N. Quirk; executive committee, Messrs. Loveridge. Childerhou.se, D. O’Donoghuc, F. Flynn and W. Stewart; secretary and treasurer, M. Loveridge. The election of club captain and selector was deferred until the next meeting. OTAHUHU LEAGUE CLUB The enthusiasm displayed at the annual meeting of the Otahuhu Rugby League Football Club, held this week, augurs well for the success of the clu'r for the ensuing season. Mr. K. Lippiatt, chairman of committees, presided over an attendance of over SP members. The annual re port made special mention of tho success of the senior E grade thirteen, which won the Stallard Cup in the knock-out competition at the end of the season. The balancesheet, which was adopted, showed the finances of the club to be in a satis- * factory condition. . . A practice for all grades will l)* held on the Princes Street Reserve ou Saturday. There is a probability of seven teams entering the competition. It was decided to compete in the fGlowing grades:—Senior B, fourth, fifth sixth A grade, sixth B grade and schoolboys.
