ANNUAL MEETINGS TAURANGA’S GOOD YEAR From Our Own Correspondent TAURA.NGA, Thursday. A very successful season was reported at the annual meeting of the Tauranga Golf Club. The following officers were elected: —President, Mr. D. A. Ivory; vicepresident, Mr. 11. P. Bryan; club captain, Mr. A. C. Anderson; treasurer, Mr. 11. P. Butts; secretary, Mr. R. T. Goulding; auditor, Mr. E. T. Baker; committee, Messrs. G. Rogers, W. A. Paterson, E. F. Hetherington, A. Buxton, IV. Turner. OHURA CLUB’S MEETING From Our Own Correspondent TAUMARUNUI, Thursday. The president, Mr. 11. M. Thompson, was in the chair at the first annual meeting of the Ohura Golf Club, at which the following officers were elected: —Patron, Mr. W. K. Williams, president, Mr. H. M. Thompson; vicepresident, Mr. R. Dawber; captain, Air R. Alii ten: vice-captain, Mr. C. Nicholls; secretary, ATr W MacClure; management committee, officers ex officio, and Messrs. D. Alackny. C. W Quintal. T. Wills and A H Wakeford: grounds committee, Alessrs. Mackay, Wakeford and Quintal; match committee. Alessrs. Alillen, Nicholls and Buchan: social committee. Air. and Airs. 11. M. Thompson, ATrs. D. Alackay, Mrs. W. T. AtcKay, Aliss AlcKay and Alessrs. C. Nicholls and A. AlacClure. The club’s first year finished with a good credit balance and a membership of nearly* 40. ROCKY NOOK CLUB The Rocky Nook Bowling CUub has ! decided to hold its third and final j novelty mixed progressive pairs tour- ! nament for the season on Tuesday, i April 3, at 1,30 p.m. The previous two j proved great successes and it is anticipated the entries will fill to a “capacity” green (30 pairs). Individual entries close with the secretary' at 1.30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8. Ordinary bowls will be used and five games of 30 minutes duration played. Wins will count first and, in the event of ties, aggregate points. OF’OTIKI CLUB’S OFFICERS From Our Oxen Correspondent OPOTIKI, Thursday.
