NEW ZEALAND’S WEALTH Press Association TIMARTJ, Thursday. Replying; to a welcome at Winchester, the Hon. G. W. Forbes, Minister of Lands, said that New Zealand was well equipped to meet any financial troubles that might arise in the near future. He expressed the opinion that it was to the land that they had to look to tide them over difficulties. With closer settlement and the application of scientific methods and* more intensive cultivation, they could double and perhaps treble production.
