PIPER AND KAY IN THE AIR AGAIN SMITH AND SHIERS ASTRAY United 8.A..—8y Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, Wednesday. Flying-Officers H. L. Piper and C. Kay, the New Zealand airmen who completed a flight from England to Darwin on Monday, left Darwin at 7 a.m. today en route to Sydney. They are coming south via Newcastle Waters, Brunette Downs and Camooweal. The airmen expect to reach Sydney on Sunday. Messrs. D. Smith and H. W. Shiers, who are flying in the monoplane City of Sydney to Wyndham, where they purpose taking off on a flight to England, went astray after they left Cloncurry this morning. They are now at Kamilaroi, near Mount Isa, and intend to continue their journey northward tomorrow.
