A message from Rome says there was a tense moment in the yacht Elettra’s crowded cabin when Marchese Marconi pressed the telegraph key and awaited the voice from Sydney announcing that the lights' were on at the radio exhibition at the Town Hall. The Marchese’s face was wreathed in smiles.
