WHANGAREI ASSOCIATION From Our Own Correspondent WHANGAREI, Wednesday. At the annual meeting of the Whangarei Hockey Association last night, the report stated that the association hud a credit balance of £265. The following officers were elected: Patron. Mr. A. J. Murdoch. M.P.: j-resi-dent. Mr. E. Hay; vice-presidents, Messrs. Chissell and Larking: secretary, Mr. J. Bachelor: treasufer, Mr. Primmer; auditor, Mr. A. D. Jackselectors—women. Mr. H. Hannam; men, Mr. E. Stainton; delegate to the Auckland Association, Mr. L. C. Kent. The Auckland Hockey Association wrote asking the support of the Whangarei Association for a proposal to incorporate the Auckland Association.. It was decided to reply that Whangarei was agreeable to incorporation. Subsequently a meeting of delegates was held and the following management committee was appointed: Messrs. J. Wilson, Johns. Care, P. Campbell, IT. Hannam, E. Stainton and McAllister.
