CROQUET TOURNAMENT

SOUTH SUBURBAN ASSOCIATION The Auckland South Suburban Croquet Association continued its tournament at Papakura yesterday. Results were as follow: GRADE A Section A.—Mesdames Graham and H. Munro beat Mesdames C. Munro and \Y. Stephens; Mesdames Mcßae and Cooper beat Mesdames Laurie and Nos worthy; Mesdames Laurie and Nosworthy heat Mesdnn es C. Munro and Stephens; Mesdames Graham anil H. Munro beat Mesdames Robertson and Seaton; Mesdames Mediae and Cooper beat Mesdames Robertson and Seaton. Ir. the section tie play-off Mesdames McRae and Cooper (Pukekohe) beat Mesdames Laurie and Nosworthy (Pukekohe). Section B.—Mesdames Bullock and Osborne beat Mesdames MclSntee and Elliott; Mesdames Andrews and Tasker beat Mesdames Coxhead and Gallaher; Me Adames Graham and Eell beat Mesdames Bates and Cooper; Mesdames Bullock and Osborne beat Mesdames Andrews and Tasker: Mesdames Coxhead and Gallaher beat Mesdames Bates and Cooper; Mesdames Bullock artd Osborne beat Mesdames Coxhead and Gallaher. This section was won by Mrs. Bullock, of Bucklands, and Mrs. Osborne, of Manurewa, who went through without a loss. GRADE B Section A.—Mesdames Wymer and Peach beat Mesdames Armstrong and Middlemtos: Mesdames Mullins and Matheson beat Mesdames Dickie and Brown; Mesdames Dickie and Brown beat Mesdames Armstrong and Middlemi^s. The B section in this grade, which was completed on Tuesday, was won by Mrs. Stephens and Miss Baird, of Clevedon. INTER-CLUB RESULTS South Suburban Croquet Association’s inter-club competi ions have been won by the Pukekohe A and B

teams. The respective runners-up were Clevedon and Mauku. The aggregate points scored during the year are: A Grade.—Pukekohe, 1,686; Clevedon, 1,601; Waiuku, 1.424; Manurewa, 1,376; Buckland, 1,350; Papakura. 1,19?. B. Grade.—Pukekohe, 980; Mauku, 916; Tuakau, 903: Buckland, 867; Waiuku, 678; Papakura, 666. The presentation of the cups is to take placo at Pukekohe next month.
