MANUREWA RUGBY CLUB At' the annual meeting of the Manurewa Rugby »Club, dissatisfaction was i expressed at the treatment by the j town board concerning the use of Jelli- | coe Park last season. It was decided j to endeavour to secure the use of I another ground this season. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr. F. C* Hand; president, Mr. [ P. Hood. i RICHMOND LEAGUE CLUB The Richmond Rovers Football Club I held one of its largest annual meet- ! ings at Mr. Tracy’s Gaiety Hall, Surrey ! Crescent, on Monday night, i r ; 33. Davis retired from the position of chairman owing to business reasons. Mr. Davis, besides being the actual founder of the club, lias been a great worker* for the League code. Mr. W. A. Swift, the popular i ex-secretary, was unanimously elected 1 chairman. i During the evening Mr. Milicich prej sented the club with a handsome silver ! cup to be won by the team having the j least number of points scored against i it. The following were elected to office: i Patron, Mr. B. Davis, sen.; vice-patron. All*. J.
