WHALER RETURNING
SOUTHERN PRINCESS FOR HOME Press Association DUNEDIN, Tuesday. Wireless advice has been received I>\ John Edmond, Limited, agents for the whaler Southern Princess, which is owned by Lever Brothers, Limited, soap manufacturers, that this vessel is well on her way from the Antarctic to Port Chalmers, and may be expected to arrive on Thursday next, accompanied, by her four chasers. It is probable that these vessels will make Port Chalmers their winter base. The Southern Princess left this port for the whaling grounds last November, manned by a crew that included 30 men who signed on here. Those men will be paid off at Dunedin. It is understood that the cruise has been a success.
