PUKEKOHE WEDDING
PERKINS—McNEIL | St. James’s Presbyterian Church, Pukekohe, was the scene of a pretty !, wedding on Saturday afternoon, when i Edith Vance, younger daughter of Mr. j and Mrs. William McNeil, of Pukekohe, | was married to Renald. only son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Perkins, also of Pukekohe. The Rev. J. Pattison officiated at the I ceremony. Given away by her father, the bride j wore a charmingly simple gown of j ivory georgette and silver lace over - crepe de chine, with a satin hemline. | A trail of hand-made satin flowers fell ! from the shoulder, and her long train j of georgette was banded with satin, j The bride’s embroidered veil was held in place by a coronet of orange bios- j som, and she carried a shower bouquet j of pink and white asters, dahlias, and carnations. Miss Madge McXeil, sister of the bride, attended as bridesmaid, wearing an ankle-length frock of eau de nil georgette, trimmed with rows of tiny frills. She carried a bouquet of autumn-tinted flowers. Mr. E. Nettlingham attended as best man.
