Blyth, managing director of Gollin and Company, Sydney, arrived b> the Maunganui this morning and is staying at the Grand Hotel. Dr. G H- Rutter, a freeman of the City of London. arrived by the Maunganui this morning from Sydney. He will spend a holiday in New Zealand. Mr. H. H. Watkins, engineer to the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board, returned to Auckland this morning after spending 10 months abroad. He was accompanied by Mrs. Watkins. Mr. Reginald Hooton returned to Wellington by the Limited last evening after having attended the funeral of his late uncle, Mr. J. P. Hooton. The Rev. Father Peoples, of Timaru. who has been on a holiday tour of Australia and America, returned by the Maunganui this morning. He will spend a few days in Auckland before going South. Lieut.-Colonel Phillip A. Meldon, D. 5.0., accompanied by his wife, the Hon. Mrs. Meldon, sister of Lord Cromwell, arrived at Wellington by the Makura yesterday on a short visit to the Dominion. Mr. W. H Derry, manager of the A.M.P. Society at Perth, Western Australia, who for some years lived in Wellington and Auckland, arrived at Wellington by the Makura yesterday on a holiday visit. Sir James Gunson, ex-Mayor of Auckland, who was a passenger on the R.M.M.S. Aorangi, was coniined to his cabin while the liner was in port at Suva or, March 15. through a fall which he had on the deck while playing games. Dr. Otto Monson, of Santa Monica, California, arrived in Auckland by the Maunganui this morning, and will be the guest of Mr. Charles Rhodes, Remuera Road.
