Military Ball

Officers, Men and N.C.O. 's of 21st Battery SUCCESSFUL ROTORUA FUNCTION The military ball given by the officers, N.C.O.’s and men of the 21st Field Eattery, at the Majestic Ballroom, Rotorua, on Friday evening, was a great success. During the evening CommanderLieutenant De "Woolfe, in a cheery speech, expressed appreciation of the hospitality extended by the people of Rotorua, to himself and the officers and men of the 21st Battery. Mr. Epi Shalfoon and his merry orchestra kept the floor thronged with dancers. Among the novelty events were spot light and Monte Carlo dances, the winners of the latter being Major Stewart and Miss Lewis.. Among those present were Lieut. - Colonel Hawkins, Archdeacon C. J. Duff, N.Z.A., Lieuts. H. do Woolfe. IJ. Evans and E>. A. Coleman. The committee members were Ser-geant-Major . Stewart. Q.M Sergeant Somerville. Padre Captain Huddlestone. Sergeant Lipscombe, Sergeant Robinson, assisted by Mr. F. White. Among those present were: Mesdames Hefferon, Muehamore, Parker. W. Monk, Knowles, Auberton, Weighbour, L. L. Allen, Miller. H.
