SURPRISE VISITORS CELEBRATE BIRTHDAY | PI. CHEVALIER GATHERING * A pleasant surprise party was I given to Miss M. Howell, at her ; home. Point Chevalier, on Saturj day, on the occasion of her birthi day. i Miss ,M. Howell received her guests i wearing white satin am\ uneven silver j lace skirt. Mrs. E. Howell, mother of i the hostess, wore grey crepe de chine * and silver lace. { The evening was spent in dancing j and games interspersed with musical i items. Among those present were: ! Misses D. Howell, in floral satin; P. I Howel. blue ctepe de chine; E. Bankier. i blush pink crepe de c-hine; A. Power, blue 1 taffeta and silver lame; M. Power, blue georgette; E. Power, green georgette: E. 1 Lambert, red floral satin; S. Dunn, green i crepe de chine and gold lace; M. Lucas, I blue and white frock: A. McNeil, black : lace and crepe de chine. The evening j was spent in dancing.
