ATHLETIC SPORTS
SUCCESSFUL MEETING AT KAMO From Our Own Corrcsposdent Monday. The Kamo Athletic Club held its annual sports gathering at Kamo on Saturday in fine weather with an excellent attendance. The chopping competitions attracted good entries, and the finishes were of an exciting order. The times registered were remarkable, and even allowing for the sloping nature of tho field and the liberal handicaps some of the winners received, it seems that some error was made in measuring the track. Results were: Boys under 12. 75yds.—S. Crump, 1; J. Kaire, 2; T. McDonald. 3 „ Girls under 12. 75yds.—E. McMillan, 1; j. Andrews, 2; D. Tautare. 3. Boys’ 100yds.—K. Saunders, 1; N. Uonaghan. 2; A.
