PT. CHEVALIER SAILING CLUB

SCHMIDT TROPHY RACES The second heat of the Schmidt Trophy, presented by Mi-, and Mrs. Harold Schmidt, was sailed during the week-end on the Point Chevalier ClubV, course. The conditions for sailing were ideal, the wind being from the northeast. This gave the boats a flat run to Walker’s mark, a close haul to No. 4 beacon and a windward beat to the cage beacon, with a broad lead bau-k to the finishing line. Many reprerryentatives of the various clubs were j> resent together with many spectatoj-fc who witnessed one of the keenest ’ races held by the club. Nineteen boats faced the starter and at gunfire Mistrai led over the line, followed by Sea Eli, Ivy and Sea Pixie, vith the others strung out.
