ONEHUNGA PRESBYTERIANS

HARVEST THANKSGIVING A display of fruits, flowers, corn and garden produce adorned the interior of the Onehunga Presbyterian Church yesterday at the annual harvest thanksgiving services. The Rev. D. D. Scott preached appropriate sermons morning and evening to large congregations, while the choir, under the organist. Miss K. Berryman. sang the anthems, ‘'Praise the Lord O Jerusalem” and “Ye Shall Dwell in the Land.” In the morning, Haydn's “With Verdure Clad,” was played by Mrs. John Craig, and in the evening Mr. Peter Black sang “The Harvester's Night Song.” A large collection of harvest products donated by members of the congregation is to be given to the Presbyterian Orphanage, Mount Smart Road, Onehunga.
