SEIZED SHIP RELEASED
INTERNATIONAL LAW TRANSGRESSED COURT QUASHES CAPTURE Reed. 12.20 p.m. VANCOUVER, Fri. On the grounds that under International law a vessel sailing from a British port for a foreign port cannot be seized for damages, on a claim the Canadian American Shipping Company, of Vancouver, the freighter, Chief Capilano, which was seized at Seattle on her way to Japan, was released by an order of the Seattle Court today.
