TAUMARUNUI WEDDING

MAIDS IN RAINBOW SHADES SANSON—RICHARDS A wedding of interest was celebrated at Taumarunui when Margaret Edith, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Richards, became the wife of Nelson, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. D. Sanson. The wedding took place at the local Anglican Church, the vicar, the Rev. J. W. Burley, officiating.

The bride was given away by her father, and wore a primrose frock, with tulle veil of the same toning. She carried a bouquet of lemon and white dahlias.

Three bridesmaids attended the Misses Alabel Sanson, Alona Curtis, and Nellie Sanson, all of Taumarunui. Miss Alabel Sanson xyas attired in a dress of shell pink, Aliss Nellie Sanson was in blue, and Aliss Alona Curtis in green, the whole making a pretty rainbow colour scheme. Two little flower-girls, Olga Rudsitts and L. AtcDonald, were dressed in pink. Air. E. Le Prou, of Taumarunui, was best man, and Alessrs. K. Sanson and J. Richards groomsmen. To receive her guests at the subsequent reception held in the Theatre Royal annexe, Airs. Richards wore a becoming dress of fawn georgette, relieved with ecru lace. The bridegroom’s mother was wearing a handsome gown of black crepe de chine. For travelling, the bride wore pale ! green, with hat to match.
