KINGSLAND WEDDING
JUDD—RAMSAY St. George’s Church, Kingsland, was the scene of the wedding on Wednesday last of Edna Lilian, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. Ramsey, of Kaitaia, and William Dudley, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Judd, of Kingsland. The Rev. J. K. McFarland officiated. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a simple gown of ivory georgette over satin. A scalloped collar ornamented the corsage and the flared tiers of the skirt fell into ’soft folds. A trail of hand-made silver tissue flowers fell from the waist and circlets of orange blossom held in place the filmy tulle veil. She carried a shower bouquet. Aliss Daisy AVatkins attended as bridesmaid, wearing a frock of cameo pink taffeta with a silver lace hem drooping at the back. A headdress of gold tissue was worn and her bouquet was of mauve and pink asters and maidenhair fern. Air. Leslie Judd acted as best man. The reception was held in St. George’s Hall, where a large number of guests were entertained. In the absence of the bride’s mother Airs. A. Ramsey received the guests, wearing figured crepe fleuri and black bankok hat, and carried a bouquet of autumn-shaded flowers. Airs. Judd, the bridegroom’s mother, wore a gown of fawn wool crepe de chine relieved with figured marocain. Her hat of felt of a darker shade and her bouquet of dahlias toned jyith her frock.
