MUNICIPAL CONCERTS
The Municipal Band gives its second concert of the season in the Town Hall this evening:. A splendid programme wil include “Marche Indienne," “Phedre” overture, cornet solo “Cleopatra” by Mr. J. Davies, two favourite pieces by Handel, Air from “Rinaldo” and Minuet from “Samson,” suite “In a Dover’s Garden,” piccolo solo “Through the Air,” by Mr. McLennan, “Serenade D’Amour,” “The Parade of the Tin Soldiers,” “The Wee Macgregor” and “Robert Bruce.” ! The band will also appear in the i Zoological Park on Sunday afternoon at three o’clock, when a fine proI gramme will include bright marches j and popular hymn tunes, overture j “Semiramide,” selections “Supplicai cion” and “Attila” and other tuneful I items.
