RECORD PROGRAMME

BLANDFORD PARK STADIUM A record-breaking programme of cinder track events has been arranged by the management of the Bland’ford Park Stadium for Monday evening. The outstanding event on the programme is the appearanec of J. Gill and P. Irving, the two intrepid round-the-world cyclists. Miss Violet Matthews, the New Zealand woman rider, will compete against the men in a series of races. Les Curtis, who rode a wonderful race last week to establish a new record, will be in action against Goldberg, Walker and Yeats, as well as 15 other riders.
