OBSTETRICAL SOCIETY
BRANCH AT POINT CHEVALIER A branch of the Obstetrical Society was formed at Point Chevalier yesterday when a meeting was held. Or. Buckley Turkington addressed the meeting and explained the aims and objects of the society. Mrs. J. S. Fletcher was elected chairwoman and Mrs. W. J. McMillan secretary and treasurer. The Point Chevalier quota was fixed at £75, Mr. J. S. Fletcher, M.P. for Grey Lynn, opening the list with a substantial donation. Socials for the purpose of raising funds were arranged. Mrs. Donaldson was convenor.
