“LADY BE GOOD”

“SUNNY” STARTS TOMORROW The final performance of the musical comedy, "Lady He Good,” revived by Fredide Forbes and his talented company, will be staged at Hi» Majesty’s Theatre this evening.. “Sunny,” one of the mosts successful musical comedies of the company'# repertoire, will commence its season at the matinee tomorrow afternoon. The show is bright and melodious, and includes spectacular scenes, picturesque ballets, clever dancing, and a wealth of hilarious fun. The music, by Jerome Kern, is of a high standard for musial comedy, and includes quite a number of catchy melodies. Among the song hits are “Who?” “D’ye L*ve Me?” “Two Kittle Blue Birds,” and “Sunny.” It is rarely indeed that theatregoers have an opportunity to witness any production surpassing this merry musical play, in gay music, and with such striking dance ensembles, wedded to a skilfully woven story. The settings, moreover, are something quit* out of the ordinary, following each other in an ever-changing kaleidoscope of attractive and wondrous scenes, from circus tent to the deck of the s.s. Triumphant, then away to the gropes of Florida, and subsequently to the gorgeously coloured fields of poppies, where beautiful girls dance gaily through the swaying blossoms, all splendidly attractive and diverting.
