TO REPRESENT AUCKLAND
HAMILTON ROWING EIGHT IN TRAINING From Our Oicn Correspondent HAMILTON, Thursday. The Auckland provincial eight-oar crew, consisting entirely of members of the Hamilton Rowing Club, which will race at the Whati against the other provincial crews on Saturday, has been training assiduously on the Waikato River at Hamilton during the last few days. Although the eight has had only 10 rows and. with the short notice given, cannot be expected to do itself full justice, it can be relied upon to make a bold showing. P. Stewart, who will act as cox for the crew, was coxswain of the Hamilton senior four, which -won the New Zealand championship in 1925 and he travelled with the crew to Australia in IS2G. when Hamilton represented the Dominion in the Steward’s Cup.
