LAW NET TIGHTENS ON DEAD WIDOW’S SON EXPERT MEDICAL EVIDENCE Reed. 10.45 a.m . LONDON, Wed. Sir Bernard Spilsbury, pathologist to the Home Office, gave evidence today in the case in which Sidney Henry Fox is charged with murdering his mother at Margate. Witness said he had no doubt that the woman’s death was due to strangulation before the fire was started in her room. Mrs. Rosaline Fox, a widow 63 years of age, was found dead in room 66 at the Hotel Metropole, Margate, on October 23. 1929, after a fire. The coroner’s jury returned a verdict of death by misadventure. Fox, in cross-examination, admitted that he was cited as the co-respondent in the case of Captain Morse against his wife, who is a wealthy Australian, and returned to Australia in 1929. She had lived with him and hi** mother for three years. Mrs. Morse loaned them ooney. He insured her life at her request, i and she willed him some money.
