UNSIGNED LETTER GIVES MURDER CLUE POLICE SERGEANT GUILTY Reed. 12.5 p.m. BUDAPEST, Tues. The police had reached a dead-end in their investigations into the burglary at the Szalonta post office, and the murder of the 60-year-old postmistress and her 74-year-old sister, till an anonymous letter suggested questioning the police sergeant in charge of the case. His fingerprints tallied with those found in the office. He was then taxed with the crime, and admitted his guilt.
