BIG MATCH MOOTED
/'"’LEM SWAN, secretary of the v Wanganui Trotting Club, is out to make the carnival at the River City next month something to be remembered by lovers of the sport. He was present at both Ashhurst and Hastings interviewing owners and trainers, and the personal touch should bear good fruit- Wanganui’s live-wire official informed “’Abaydos” that he was hoping to play his trump card in the shape of a match between Peter Bingen and Padlock, and although the affair was not finalised, he was hopeful of the “go' 1 taking place.
