PIANO STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION
The Auckland Piano Students’ Association held the first of its fortnightly meetings for the season last night in the club rooms in the Lewis Eady Buildings. There was a good attendance and the evening was devoted chiefly to arrangements for the coming session. The minutes were read by the secretary. Miss* Mary Mitchell, and the president. Miss Joyce M. Parker, submitted the season’s programme, prej viously arranged by the committee. ! Several novel features are included I which promise an unusually interestj ing series. A letter of thanks was received from j the Community Sunshine Association j in regard to the piano students activities on their behalf last December, j An interesting addition to the programme is promised in the near j future, when Mr. Alfred Eady will give j an illustrated lecture. Intending memj bers are advised to make early appli- ■ | cation as the membership is strictly • | limited. . j During the evening enjoyable items 1 i were given by Miss R. Kennedy, wlic . played Sind ing’s “Marche Grotesque,' L i and Miss D. Davis, Powell's “Chan! d’ Amour.”
