DRURY WEDDING

SATIN GOWN EMBROIDERED WITH PEARLS AND BEADS SPYVE—McINNES The Drury Presbyterian Church was the scene of a pretty wedding on Wednesday, when Miss Norma Mclnnes, of Drury, was married to Mr. Samuel Cecil Spyve, son of Mr. and Mrs. Spyve, of Pukehuia. The church, was decorated by friends of the bride. The Rev. J. H. Bredin. of Papakura, officiated and Miss Mavis Morrison presided at the organ. Given away by Mr. "W. Cossey, the bride wore a frock of white satin beaute, prettily embroidered with pearls and silver beads, the uneven hemline falling in handkerchief points. -Her embroidered veil was held in place by a coronet of orange blossoms and

i she carried a bouquet of white lilies, dahlias, pale pink asters and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid. Miss M. Spyve, J sister of the bridegroom, wore a pretty j frock of saxe blue embossed crepe de j chine with a silver lace corsage and a flared skirt, Site wore a hat to tone j and carried a bouquet of pale pink lilies, roses and asters. Mr. F. Stonex attended as best man. The reception was held at the Broadway tearooms, Papakura, Miss M. Cossey acting as hostess. Among the guests were:—Mrs. Spyve Iraother of the bridegroom), Mrs. Mullanger, Mrs. Windioborn, Mrs. | Williams, Mrs. C. Clune, Miss 'Stoner, j Miss A. Cossey, Miss E. McPherson and Miss G. Cossey.
